The Northern Health Strategy assists and facilitates health human resources recruitment, retention, training and education in the North.

•    NHS staff support members’ recruitment by assisting in coordinating attendance and representation at job fairs
•    NHS members collaborate on a broader vision and strategy(Link info and content forthcoming) which will enable an education Intersectoral approach to human resource strategies
•    NHS informs local leaders of how the leaders can encourage growth in health human resources sharing
•    NHS co-chairs the health sector sub-committee of the Northern Labour Market Committee
•    NHS works closely with the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO) and other health sector human resource development initiatives, and education institutions to ensure northern health stakeholder needs are being heard and addressed
